A day before women’s day on March 7th, The Hindu, organized a Treasure hunt, especially for women’s. The day started bit early by 7 in the morning. I and my other two friends were all set to hit the roads. We all turned as roadies were eagerly waiting for the flag off. It was all the beginning of fun… We started in City center roving around beaches, slums, pizza huts, coffee shops, schools, malls, show rooms, temples, hotels, restaurants, shops, parks and ofcourse graveyards too… This was entirely a pole apart and tremendously beyond belief experience... we went through Luke and corner of Chennai finding the clues..., pumping water on street pumps, taking pictures with rickshaws, jumping on street walls, taking pictures with all the statues on the beach road and so on… The best part of the fun was sitting inside the car with too many clues on hand …. No clue where to go and what to find…. Figuring out the clues and finding the places were the preeminent part of treasure hunt…
By the time we finished the first set of clues we all 3 were exhausted but then we had another set of clues waiting for us… with no energy we reached city center back…. But trust me it is remarkable fun to be as a part of treasure hunt… I will always treasure this experience and now am enhanced in roots and I know Chennai better… Treasure hunt a game to make u think and explore…. I am waiting for the next year’s treasure hunt... Will never miss the game for my life time... Actually the finest name for treasure hunt would be scavenger hunt J… ofcourse we were scavengers too…
